My name is Brandon and I work with YWAM Thailand. Last month I had the opportunity to go to Samuel’s house with my brother and some friends from America and some of my Thai friends.

We were so blessed and encouraged by the house parents and by all of the kids. We spent the days playing with the children, planting rice, helping the church, picking up the kids from school, going to cell groups, and being blessed by the kids and the family there.

It is so encouraging to see how the children love and respect each other, how they share their toys and help with all of the chores without complaining. We can see them growing in their faith and being firmly planted at such young age through the prayer times, devotions, and worship times. The kids tell me how they want to serve God when they get older, some want to be missionaries. I am so excited to see where God takes them. It is always fun to see a bunch of us foreigners tromping around in the mud trying to plant rice with the Thais, I know that we weren’t the best at it but everyone there had fun with us, and gently corrected us and fixed the mistakes that we made. The older kids helped out so much also, while the younger ones just dove around in the mud.. We had the opportunity to join with the church and be part of one of the cell groups in the village.. It is encouraging to see what God is doing in Phayakkhaphum Phisai through Nehamee, Hannah, Koh and the kids. We also had a lot of fun like fishing and we got to watch an elephant show and ride the elephants with the kids. If you ever get the chance, come and spend some time at this place…
