Hi all. We are fund-raising for a used 12-seater van. The van will enable us to transport the children to school without them getting wet. They are currently ferried to school in the tray of a ute (pick-up) without any shelter or protection from the elements. Mr. Brad Davin, one of our child sponsors, has generously contributed US$5,000 but we need at least US$10,000-US$12,000 to purchase a decent used van (as pictured). We are hoping to get at least US$200 from each sponsor to make up the shortfall. However, any amount would be very much appreciated.

We need computers, scanners etc.

The school which all of our children attend has a serious shortage of computers. Computer classes are taught at the school, however, the teaching is conducted using only one computer in the classroom. The students learn by watching and listening to what the teacher does on the computer rather than getting hands-on experience.

In order to help fill this education gap, we want to furnish the school and Samuel's House with a few more computers. If anyone is able to contribute computers, scanners, etc, please contact us.

HINT: Organisations typically purchase new computer systems and dispose of their old computer systems once every 2-4 years. It would be great if we can get hold these computers systems to send to Thailand, where they will be very much appreciated and utilised. It also helps with the recycling cause!

The children are growing really quickly and we are in need of clothing (e.g. shirts, shorts, pants, etc...). We have six boys and six girls, ranging from eight to sixteen years old. Please contact us if you have clothing that you want to donate after a big clean-out or your children have grown out of them.
